How to “Roseanne Proof” your business

Another one bites the dust because of their happy Twitter fingers.

As you’ve probably heard, ABC dumped the #1 show on television, the reboot of “Roseanne” because of the star’s Twitter rant.

Now the cast, many of whom didn’t have a steady gig after the original show went off the air, are out of a job as are the writers and countless other production folks.

How many millions of dollars in sales are going to be lost because of one person’s actions?

The lessons here are many, but one that isn’t as apparent is the danger of “one.” If you rely on one of anything, you’re putting yourself in peril.

“Roseanne” relied upon one person and when she went off the rails, it was game over. If you have one client, who is responsible the majority of your revenue or one key employee that you’d be dead meat without or one way of marketing that is bringing in leads, “Danger Will Robinson, danger!”

By the way, I’m as guilty as anyone. I rely on Facebook almost exclusively to bring me leads. Not good. I will be incorporating direct mail back into the program shortly, and then other lead generation methods.

How about you? Is your business “Roseanne” proof?

Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!

P.S. I want to make it very clear about what tomorrow’s webcast is about and what it’s not about as well as who it’s for and who it’s not for.

I will be discussing the BUSINESS aspect of information marketing. I will be going over the ins-and-outs, how much time is needed, what it takes to succeed, what kind of money is required, etc. You will get the facts so you can make an educated decision about whether this is a business you want to start.  This is NOT in-depth training about how to start an information marketing business. As I said yesterday if you genuinely want to start a legitimate business selling information products, you need more than a webcast. So, yes, I will be selling something to people who are serious about doing this.

This webcast is for people who at least have a strong interest in starting a real business selling information products. If you’re merely curious, then you won’t get a lot of this.

I’m telling you all of this to be completely transparent so you don’t waste time you could be spending with your family or doing something else.

If you are serious about starting an information marketing business, then you can reserve your spot here:
