There’s one question you should ask every prospect you meet with and ask every audience you speak before.
It is a take on Dan Sullivan’s, of Strategic Coach fame, famous question. Here ’tis:
Imagine you could wave a magic wand, it’s (time period) from today and we’ve worked together, what would have to happen for you to be happy with the results?
This question accomplishes a lot. This question cuts to the heart of what your prospect wants and desires. It presupposes you are working with him. It future paces him so he sees the results of working with you.
Add this one question to your presentation not only will you close more, you will know precisely how to make your client happy.
