I’m sitting in our conference room, listening to an old Zig Ziglar recording, and he said the following:

Manipulation is persuading someone to take an action which is primarily for your benefit.

Motivation occurs when you persuade someone to take an action in their own best interests,

Leadership occurs when you persuade a person to take an action which is in your mutual best interests.

Simple and powerful, wouldn’t you agree.

So as business owners, we need to work on not only on perfecting our craft but being leaders inside our business.

The better leaders we become, the more profits we’ll enjoy, and the more people we will help.
