Yes, that advice is self-serving because I sell how to do that, but that doesn’t make it any less true.
Speaking to sell is a superpower few entrepreneurs possess but having it gives you an unbeatable competitive advantage.
First, you can use that superpower to generate high-quality leads.
Second, you are instantly seen as an expert and authority because you’re speaking. So many people fear public speaking that you’re held in higher esteem. Also, only experts, authorities, and celebrities get up in front of groups of people and speak.
Third, speaking is the fastest way to get people to quickly know, like, and trust you and sell simultaneously.
Fourth, it’s the most efficient way to leverage your time. You can quickly fill your calendar with excellent prospects when you deliver a one-to-many presentation.
Fifth, there isn’t a better way to turn unconverted leads into appointments like clockwork. I promise that if you invite your leads to an educational presentation every month, you will make more sales. (The side benefit is it only takes 75 minutes a month or less to do a webinar and slightly longer if you deliver your presentation in person because you need to get the venue.)
