Okay, let’s talk about the missing link of lead generation.
Almost everyone understands that lead gen marketing should be designed to attract prospects. Duh. However, what very few people do is create their marketing so that it repels the people who aren’t right for them.
Attract and repel. Those are two of the keys to lead generation marketing.
If you don’t do both of those things, you not only pay for low-quality leads; you waste your time trying to sell to them.
For example, when I speak to sell, I’d rather be in front of an audience of 50 real business owners, than an audience of 500 opportunity seekers because of what I’m selling and the type of customer I want to have in the long run.
Often, your conversions aren’t good because of whois in your audience, not with your presentation.
