Almost everyone understands that lead-gen marketing should be designed to attract prospects. Duh. However, very few people create their marketing to repel those who aren’t right for them.
Attract and repel. Those are two of the keys to lead generation marketing.
If you don’t do both things, you’ll pay for low-quality leads and waste your time trying to sell to them.
For example, when I speak to sell, I’d rather be in front of an audience of 50 real business owners than buyers because of what I’m selling and the type of customer I want to have in the long run.
Often, your conversions aren’t good because of who in your audience, not with your presentation.
