I’m re-reading the book The Art Of Living – The Classical Manual on Virtue, Happiness, and Effectiveness which a collection of essays by Epictetus.
Here is a passage from what I read today:
“Happiness and freedom being with a clear understanding of one principle: Some things are within our control, and some things are not. It is only after you have faced up to this fundamental rule and learned to distinguish between what you can, and you can’t control that inner tranquility and outer effectiveness become possible.”
We are not totally in control of the outcomes we set for ourselves. However, we are in control of the actions we take to try and achieve those outcomes.
Are the actions you’re taking this week moving you closer to reaching your most important goals?

P.S. At noon ET today, the new Inner Sanctum VIP masterclass is released. In it, my special guest reveals how she built her email list from zero to over 350 of her very best leads in less than three days, how she booked 28 appointments in less than an hour and the counter-intuitive secret that made her a dominant force in a commoditized business.
Join us now and get access to the masterclass and all of the benefits of being an Inner Sanctum VIP.
