Every year, for as long as I can remember, I’ve watched two movies over the holiday season, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” and “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.”
My two biological kids watched these movies with me for years as well, and I thought they enjoyed it.
Well, I brought up the subject the other day over dinner with all my kids and Karen, and they all rejected the idea that we watch the movies together.
Yes, they’re all Scrooges, but their lack of enthusiasm will not dissuade me from sitting in our movie room, in the dark, all by myself, watching these films. I will not be denied!
