Part of my morning routine is to write down in my journal something I’m grateful for. I don’t know what sparked this, maybe it was the season finale of Westword, but here is what I wrote:
I am grateful for my freedom. I am blessed to have the freedom to do what I want, where I want, with whom I want. I have the freedom of choice with no one dictating what I do or when I do it.
When times get tough on your entrepreneurial journey, remember that one of the reasons we have taken on the challenge of working for ourselves is the freedom it gives us.
I’ll take the problems and struggles that come with being an entrepreneur over having a “boss.” My guess is you feel the same way too. Let’s be thankful for it.
