What’s wrong with these people?

There are 70 restaurants on Marco Island, several are pizza places, and others have pizza on their menu. And some of the pizza is excellent.

And then there is Little Caesar’s.

The Google reviews for that place are over-the-top positive. (This goes to show that sometimes reviews are misleading.)

I am stunned when I see people going to Little Caesar’s to get their pizza fix. Are they insane? I don’t like any national pizza companies, but it’s universally accepted that Little Caesar’s is the worst.

Why would anyone in their right mind get cheap, poor-tasting pizza from a national chain when they can get delicious pizza from a local restaurant?

Were they hit over the head with a blunt object and lost their sense of taste?

Is it a Candid Camera type of prank show?

Did they lose a bet?

Honestly, I’m flummoxed.

But there’s the rub.

It doesn’t matter what a food snob like me thinks. I’m not the prospect for Little Caesar’s. They don’t invest marketing dollars to attract people like me or care about using high-end ingredients to make their pizza taste good.

Little Caesar’s knows who their market is and what they want, and they cater to those people. They don’t try to be everything to everyone.

You won’t find a Roll Royce dealership also selling used Pintos

How about you?

Are your sales and marketing materials dialed in to attract your ideal clients while excluding everyone else?

Do you want to be the Little Caesar’s or the Alinea in your market?

Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
