Your Follow-Up Is Wearing Sweatpants

It’s Sunday, so I’ll keep this tight and comfy—unlike the follow-up sequences I see from most professionals.

Here’s your quick tip:

Look at the first follow-up email you send after someone books a call with you.

Does it reinforce that they made a smart move?

Does it preview what the call will be like?

Does it help them show up ready, mentally and emotionally?

Or does it just say:

“Thanks for booking! Talk soon.”

If it’s the latter, you leave trust, positioning, and DEEnero on the table.

Just like you wouldn’t show up to a client meeting in sweatpants (I hope)…don’t let your follow-up look lazy either.

Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
