It’s a big day today.
You know what I’m referring to, don’t you?
It’s National Tequila Day.
As President Biden would say, “I’m not joking.”
There is a strange holiday for nearly every day of the year. (Google is your friend.)
You can use that holiday as a reason to contact your leads and make them an offer.
“But I’m a professional! I can’t do that,” some DEEmail subscribers scream.
If someone wants to be professional, boring, and sound like their competitors, it’s no skin off my nose.
But forward-thinking “professionals” realize that using something offbeat like an obscure holiday to contact their leads and make an offer makes them stand out and be infotaining. Doing that translates into more leads, consuming your marketing materials, and setting appointments.
A one-off “holiday” email probably won’t make the pendulum swing so much that it fills your calendar, but as part of a comprehensive campaign designed to turn leads into clients, it’s a powerful tool.
