A few years ago, Kalia and I went to a restaurant with friends who had never tried organ meats.
Being the adventurous type (and a foodie), I ordered veal brains and sheep testicles for the table.
They tried them.
They hated them.
(Like… really hated them.)
To this day, they still remind me—loudly and often—of just how traumatized they were by that dinner.
Foodies, they’re not.
Here’s the business lesson:
If you try to please everyone, you’ll end up pleasing no one.
The goal isn’t to be “palatable” to the masses.
It’s to be magnetic to your ideal prospects—and repellent to the wrong ones.
Same in marketing.
Same in client attraction.
Same if you want your days filled with people you love working with.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
