It’s officially rainy season here in Southwest FL.

This week, we’ve had a tornado warning, tons of rain, and flood alerts. Plus, it’s humid as hell.

Am I complaining?

Not at all.

We knew what we were getting into when we moved to Marco Island. It was our decision.

We can’t bask in the glorious climate when our friends and family are freezing their arses off and complain when the inevitable bad weather rolls in.

When business owners complain about their clients or employees, I ask them why they picked them.

When they say they don’t like their business model, I ask them why they don’t change it or start a business they’ll enjoy.

As the late, great Jim Rohn said, “If you don’t like how things are, change it. You’re not a tree!”
