Do you remember the band Three Dog Night?

I’m getting so old that I remember buying their vinyl singles. (Do you realize that some people reading this have no idea what I’m talking about?)

The group had a hit song, “One Is the Loneliest Number.” They were right, especially regarding your businesses and, more specifically, lead generation.

You need more than one way to generate leads. The “You are only one funnel away away” quip is a brilliant marketing hook, but unfortunately, it’s not true in most cases. You need more than one funnel. You need more than one way to “get the phones” to ring.

When I was a full-time machine, I used display ads, direct mail, in-person demonstrations, a referral system, and, one of my favorites, marketing additional shows during my performances.

Currently, we use feature-length webinars, micro webinars, PDF reports, books, speaking, and our daily DEEMails to sell our small group workshops, Elite Mastermind, and other services.
