The Tasting Menu That Broke Me

Kalia and I are big fans of José Andrés.

We’ve been to a bunch of his restaurants, and if you haven’t tried the tasting menu at China Poblano in Vegas—do it. It’s a culinary rollercoaster.

But recently, we ate at The Bazaar in Miami.

Fantastic food. Gorgeous presentation. One of the best-tasting menus I’ve had…

Until it wasn’t.

Because just when we thought we were done, they kept bringing more.

Another course. Then another. Then another.

After a while, the magic turned into mayhem. Not because the food was bad, but because there was just too much.

We tapped out.

And I couldn’t help but think…

This is exactly what most professionals are doing in their business.

They’re overfeeding the system.

More effort.

More content.

More lead magnets.

More tactics.

Thinking that “more” is what gets them the result.

But like that meal, it eventually becomes too much.

Bloated. Overwhelming. Ineffective.

Here’s the truth:

  • You don’t need more stuff.
  • You need a better engine.

One that turns the right inputs into consistent results, with less effort, not more.

That’s what we’re working on inside the E7 Accelerator this weekend.

And it’s what I hope you’ll work on too.

Because if your business feels like it’s constantly serving up the next course, and you’re too full to enjoy any of it…

It’s time for a smarter menu.

Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
