The Myth Of “Just One More Thing”

“I just need to get a few more things in place first…”

I’ve heard that sentence more times than I can count.

And every time, it frustrates me.

Because it’s never “one more thing.”

It’s a stall.

It’s perfectionism dressed up as preparation.

And the deeper truth?

It’s fear.

Fear of being visible.

Fear of being judged.

Fear of proclaiming “I am THE expert.”

So you tweak your brand.

You update your funnel.

You tinker with your “about” page—again.

All while telling yourself you’re “getting ready.”

No, you’re hiding.

And I get it. I’ve done it. But here’s the problem:

You don’t get clarity from planning. You get clarity from movement.

Actionable tip:

Instead of asking, “What else do I need to do?”

Ask: “What am I avoiding that would actually move the needle?”

And then—do that. Even if it’s messy. Especially if it’s messy.

You’re not one more tweak away from a breakthrough.

You’re one bold move away from proof.

More on that tomorrow when I break down one of the most dangerous lies you might believe

Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
