The gross thing I heard

Here’s what you don’t want to hear before walking into the men’s room at the American Express Centurion Lounge…

A guy says to his wife, “I missed the urinal.”

Say what?

No, I’m not kidding.

First, how is that even possible? My guess would be his eyes were glued to his phone.

Second, why would you tell your wife that?

Third, why would you say it so loud that others would hear it?

Some things should be left unsaid.

And that’s also true when it comes to selling. (That was quite the transition, wasn’t it?)

So many professional service providers keep talking and selling after the prospect indicates that they want to buy, and as a result, talk themselves out of a sale.

When the prospect indicates that they’re ready to buy, as the late great sales training J. Douglas Edwards taught, shut up.

Start filling out the paperwork, get the credit card, and close the sale.

Don’t be like the dude in the urinal and miss the mark.

Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
