The easiest way to get new clients

Imagine getting white-hot prospects to schedule meetings with you before they even attend your seminar, workshop, or webinar.

And doing it without any extra effort on your part.

Today, in step #3 of the “5 Steps To Getting More Clients From Every Workshop or Webinar You Do” series, I’ll show you how.

One of the biggest missed opportunities to get prospects to schedule a meeting with you is on your confirmation page.

Think about it.

Someone sees your ad for an upcoming event, clicks a link, and completes a form to attend.

Of course, we don’t know if they’re a highly qualified prospect. More about that in a minute. However, at the very least, we know they’re interested in the topic.

So what do most advisors and other professional services providers do?

Redirect the prospect to a generic confirmation page that perhaps has details about the event they registered for.

A better approach is to include an offer for the same strategy session you’re offering during the workshop or webinar.

Here’s a sample confirmation page:

Note that you first confirm that they are registered for the event.

Then they watch a brief video where you:

  • Congratulate the prospect on registering for the event.
  • Reiterate the benefits of attending.
  • Tell the prospect to check their email for details.

Then have the video explain the strategy session, its benefits, and give them the opportunity to schedule it.

Under the video, you have sales copy that also details the offer and has a call to action.

Here’s the truth:

Very few prospects will schedule appointments on the spot, but that doesn’t matter.

Let’s say that over the course of a year, only 20 prospects take you up on the offer, and only 7 of them become clients.

What would seven new clients be worth to your practice?

And what did it cost you to create the opportunity?

Nothing.

You might be wondering how we know if these prospects are qualified.

We don’t.

But when the prospect clicks the button, they are directed to a non-intrusive questionnaire that must be completed before meeting with you. Their answers to the questions qualify or disqualify them.

W. Clement Stone said, “Little hinges swing big doors.”

This confirmation page strategy is one of those “little hinges.”

Up until now, I’ve shared strategies to improve your results before you even conduct your workshop or webinar.

On Monday, I’ll share how to structure your presentation to attract the most qualified prospects and get them to schedule a meeting with you.

This structure is specifically for professional services providers and can quite literally double your results.
