Lots of business owners paddle their boats faster and faster hoping to get ahead or at least stay afloat instead of taking time to fix the holes they have in the boat.
One of the most significant holes is the lack of follow-up in several areas. Here is a partial list of follow-up systems you need.
- After opt-in.
- Lead to appointment.
- When a prospect responds to an email.
- After a prospect schedules an appointment.
- After a prospect becomes a client.
- After you meet with a prospect, they don’t become a client.
These systems don’t need to be complicated. For example, my follow-up system immediately after some requests a lead magnet is two simple, but highly strategic, emails. Then we have a system when someone responds to the second email.
I understand that these systems aren’t as “exciting” as the newest wiz-bang lead generation methods, but they will increase your profits with little added expense.
