I was on stage today running the Peak Performers meeting for my awesome client, GKIC.
A big theme that emerged was…drumroll, please…
Selling stuff.
A lot of folks were spending too much time edumacating themselves and not enough time closing sales to fill their coffers.
A boatload of the members want to get in the info-biz, which is smart, but they were focusing on creating their product and not on selling their product. The backasswards approach is to create a product and then try to sell it. The proper approach is to sell a product and then create it.
Listen, grasshopper, the bottom line is the bottom line and that is selling your stuff. Everything else is just talk. Building your funnels, testing out the nifty new Facebook hack is just dandy but none of it matters until you SELL your product or service. That’s where the rubber meets the road.
You want to solve a lot of your business problems? Sell more stuff. Forget everything else and sell.
You’ve got to get good at selling regardless of the business you’re in. It’s the single most important skill you can possess.
If you want my help and have a real business you should apply for a consulting day with Dr. Dee. Email email me and I’ll send you details.
Gotta be on stage tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. Sweet dreams.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
