At the Elite Mastermind meeting in Marco last week, Marilou was assigned to help us during the meeting. She took lunch orders, ensured the refreshments were stocked, cleaned the room, and did it with a smile.
But what was most impressive was that she memorized everyone’s name!
She’d deliver the lunch and say with a smile, “Enjoy, Justin, “ “Is there anything I can get you, Joe,” etc.
That did not go unnoticed by my Elite members.
When I asked her how she did it, she humbly said, “Well, the names are written on the menu, and I take the time to memorize everyone’s name.”
Wow.
I used to say I was terrible at remembering names, but that’s B.S.
The truth is that I don’t make the effort to do it, and I will fix that.
Using your prospect’s or client’s name during a consultation is one of the best ways to get them to like you and listen to you, and will increase your sales.
Plus, it shows them that you think they are important.
A lesson I was reminded of by Marilou.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
