One Of The Dumbest Things I’ve Heard

Good, Lord.

I’ve been seeing a lot of online marketing “gurus” claiming webinars are dead. (There is one guru advertising on Facebook who made that claim and also makes the claim that his system doesn’t rely on “outdated” marketing funnels, while the ad drives you to, you guessed it, a funnel!)

Let me tell you—webinars are far from dead. In fact, if you’re looking for a way to get more high-quality consultations with prospects ready to pay for your help, webinars are still one of the best tools out there.

But here’s the problem: too many people jump on the “this doesn’t work anymore” bandwagon just because something takes effort.

Your action step? Get back to basics and host a value-packed, live webinar.

Here’s why webinars work:

  • You build trust: Prospects get to hear your voice, see your expertise, and connect with you in real-time. It’s the next best thing to sit across the table from them.
  • You control the conversation: You’re leading the discussion, solving their problems, and guiding them naturally toward booking a consultation.
  • You give prospects a reason to act: By offering a limited-time opportunity to book a one-on-one session at the end of your webinar, you create urgency that makes them take the next step.

So, don’t fall for the “webinars are dead” myth. They’re still very much alive—and if you do them right, they’re a direct line to more consultations with clients ready to pay for your help.
