Kalia and I are heading out for our monthly couple’s massage date.

It’s one of my favorite rituals. You lie down, relax, and let someone else work out all the knots and tension you didn’t even know you had.

And it got me thinking…

Your prospects need the same kind of relief for their problems, not their back pain. They’re stressed, overwhelmed, and tied up in knots about something in their business or life. They’re desperate for someone to come in, work out the kinks, and give them a clear path forward.

So, how do you get them to book that consultation with you? Here’s a little tip that works like a deep-tissue massage for your lead gen:

Use “pre-framing” in your messaging. What’s pre-framing, you ask? It’s setting the stage so your prospects already see you as the solution to their pain before they even speak to you.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Call out the pain: In your emails, social posts, or ads, get specific about the exact problem your prospects are struggling with. Just like a masseuse can pinpoint a knot, you need to show that you understand their pain point.

    Example: “If you’re tired of constantly chasing clients and feeling like your marketing efforts are a waste of time, you’re not alone—and I’ve got a fix for that.”

  2. Hint at the relief: Tease how you can make their problem disappear (without giving it all away). This gets them thinking, “Hmm, maybe this person really can help me out.”

    Example: “What if there was a way to attract clients consistently without spending hours every day hunting them down? Spoiler alert: there is.”

  3. Offer the next step: After you’ve shown them you understand their pain and teased the relief, invite them to book a consultation where you’ll dive deeper and get rid of those knots for good.

Pre-framing creates a sense of urgency and trust. By the time they get on the call with you, they’re already primed to believe you’re the expert who can help them.

And just like a good massage, your consultation will leave them feeling lighter and more relaxed—because they’ve found the solution they’ve been searching for.
