My friend, Frank Kern, texted me this week to ask about webinar platforms – specifically Demio.
Here’s my response:
—
The Good:
- Super simple to use. REALLY easy.
- Excellent if you want to incorporate recorded video.
- Dynamic CTA button.
- No download is necessary for registrants.
- Nice chat/Q&A feature. (Can show questions on the screen.)
- Can have up to six people” on stage” at the same time.
- Easy to bring participants on stage.
- Very few problems with people watching. Ex. I had 495 people on a webinar yesterday, and only two said they had audio issues. They refreshed and were fine.
- Easily integrates with InfusionSoft.
- All in one – One-off webinars, automated webinars, and webinar series.
The Not So Good:
- You upload slides that Demio turns into images so you can have animation. I create basic” fake animation” using multiple slides for bullet points—You can share your desktop if you want to run your presentation from your computer, BUT I have not had good luck with that. It has not been smooth. Plus, you need a second monitor to see the activity in Demio. I like to have everything in one place.
- Ultrabasic registration page builder and no opt-in rate tracking. You can embed their registration form on your own page, though.
- At times, the sound is out of sync on the webinar recording. (Just the recording, not the live broadcast.)
Overall, Demio is my favorite, and I’ve tested many of them.

Here’s the truth about all of this, more important than the webinar platform is what you do with it and how you use it.
At S3 Summit: Liftoff, I’ll be sharing with you the three most effective types of webinars for attracting leads and turning those leads into appointments. There’s a lot I’ve learned and discovered over the past year that I’ll be teaching for the first time, including doing multi-host webinars. (I’ve produced some fantastic results with this type of webinar, and I’ll show you how to do them for maximum impact.)
Again, this single session is worth the price of admission to the entire event.
Don’t have a ticket?
Here’s where to fix that:
