One of my favorite all-time songs is “I Want You Bad” by NRBQ, one of my favorite all-time bands.
“I’m thinking, and it’s driving me mad, but you’re the best thing that I ever had, and I want you, I want you bad,” the lyrics go.
Are you positioned so your prospects want YOU bad and not just the service you offer?
That’s an important question because the professional service provider viewed as THE expert and authority doesn’t have to worry about getting leads, working with clients you don’t want to, or charging premium prices.
When people in your target market think of YOU when they need the service you offer and want YOU to help them, you dominate and make more DEEnero because you virtually eliminate price resistance.
It’s important to remember that your best prospects aren’t looking for the lowest-priced service provider; they are looking for who they think is the best. That’s why it’s crucial you not only sell what you do but WHO YOU ARE.
You are in the business of selling you.
