After five incredible weeks in Thailand, Kalia and I are finally back in Marco Island.
The moment we walked through the door, it hit us—home. Our bed. Our kitchen. Our espresso maker (seriously, nothing beats your own setup). But as much as we love being back, there’s also that weird, in-between feeling. The kind where you’re happy to be home but still missing the adventure.
It’s like having a business that’s doing okay… but deep down, knowing something’s missing.
A lot of professional service providers tell me, “Dave, I need more leads.”
But after looking under the hood of their business, I see the real issue isn’t lead generation—it’s lead conversion. They don’t have a system for consistently turning the leads they already have into booked appointments.
The leads are there. But the appointments? Not so much.
If that sounds familiar, here’s a quick tip that can fix a major gap: Follow up with every lead who didn’t book a call.
Most people send one or two emails and move on. Big mistake.
Instead, create a simple email sequence that reminds them why they showed interest in the first place, overcomes common objections, and gives them an easy way to schedule a call. One of my private clients implemented this and booked 11 appointments in a week—from leads they thought were dead.
The reality is, if you’re struggling to get enough clients, you probably don’t need more leads. You need a better way to turn your existing leads into appointments.
And when you dial that in? It’s like coming home after a long trip and realizing you don’t have to start from scratch—everything is already set up and ready to go.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
