Take following up with leads. Almost everyone gives up far too early. I’ve had people tell them they followed my wily emails ways and didn’t get results. When pressed further they tell me they “tried” it for a month. That ain’t going to cut the mustard, Bubba.

Although you might not see visible results from your efforts, a lot is happening “behind the scenes.” It’s the same as planting seeds. A farmer doesn’t plant a seed and a week later expect to harvest. He doesn’t plow the field and plant again. No, the farmer fertilizes the ground, waters the seeds, nurtures it, and eliminates weeds that could harm his crop.

Yes, that lag time between taking action and seeing the fruits of your labor can feel like an eternity, but those who keep at it reap the rewards.
