Last night, I had the displeasure of watching what maybe was the dumbest movie ever – “The Beekeeper” starring Jason Statham.
That flick made some of Steven Seagal’s direct-to-video movies seem like The Godfather.
I get it. The movie is supposed to be a mindless action flick and a guilty pleasure. But “The Beekeeper” was so inane, the acting so poor, the storyline so ludicrous, and the action sequences so unrealistic that I felt I lost more brain cells than had I binge-watched “Love Island” for days.
Ahh.
I feel better now.
And now for the transition…
Do you know what else is dumb?
Not following up with leads. (See what I did there?)
Let me give you updated stats about conversion percentages for turning leads into appointments:
0-30 Days: 5% to 15%
45-90 Days: 15% to 25%
90-180 Days: 25% to 35%
180 Days to 365 Days: 35% to 50%
A business owner who doesn’t have a comprehensive plan for following up with leads weekly is leaving the MAJORITY of their sales on the table.
Now that, my movie-loving friend, is ludicrous.
