Kalia were in our seats for Saturday’s movie far too early, no we got to see the previews and the commercials before the previews.
One of the commercials was for some type of advertising and marketing awards show, where the top prize goes to the “most creative” marketing campaign.
Do you see the problemo?
Should the most coveted award go to the marketing campaign that produces the most results?
I’ve never heard of an entrepreneur who has invested money into a marketing campaign, went to a bank, and deposited the campaign because it was so creative. Have you?
Results. Rule. Period.
I guess that isn’t the mantra for most marketing agencies.
