Here is something you can do next week that will cost you nothing. It will allow you to deepen your relationship with your clients, produce additional revenue, and stimulate referrals.
Do a by-invitation, client-only “What Trump or Harris” means to your __________________. Fill in the blank with whatever service you offer—examples: “Retirement Planning,” “401K,” “Estate Plan,” etc.
Or choose another timely topic in the news or at the top of their consciousness.
Don’t overcomplicate the presentation. You don’t need fancy slides and probably should use them. Simply follow my outline for creating presentations that sell and write notes to glance out. Use Zoom to deliver the presentation.
What should you offer at the end?
Probably nothing, or make a soft offer.
This goodwill play reestablished you as the service provider with the most up-to-date information that benefits your clients, not a big sales pitch. (Even though you’re not making a strong offer, still follow my blueprint because you’re always selling something whenever you get in front of an audience.
If you’re compelled to make an offer, it could be something like, “I’ll be contacting you to set up an (Estate Planning Review, Quarterly Business Review, etc.).” Then follow up.
I’d recommend you promote a replay after using positive comments from the chat in the replay campaign to encourage other clients to watch the presentation.
Add a client-only monthly or quarterly event like I’ve described, and you increase your profits at no cost and with minimal effort.
