I’m sitting here in West Palm Beach overlooking the ocean, as I write to you.
No, this doesn’t suck.
Speaking of not sucking…
I saw the movie A Star Is Born on Sunday, and it was awesome. (I still haven’t convinced the wife to see Halloween with me. It might just be me and a bag of popcorn at that one.)
What I loved about the movie was how invested Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were in their characters. They each gave a deeply emotional performance.
The missing element in nearly all of the platform sales presentations and webinars I see, is emotion from the presenter. They might deliver a crisp, well-designed, and cohesive pitch but they never make an emotional connection with their audience.
Successful selling combines logic and emotion. You can’t just present logical reasons to buy if you want to maximize sales since buying decisions are emotional based.
You need to tap in your audience’s emotions and to do that, you need to be emotionally invested into what you’re saying and selling. This is the art of selling and it makes all the difference in the world when it comes to your results.
If you are ready to step up into the big leagues and master the art and science of sales persuasion, then you’re ready for this:
Make it a great day.
