Lambrusco and Jelly Beans – A very bad combination

Yesterday, I decided to make an Easter dinner for the Dee clan at the very last minute instead of going out.

It was a lovely menu that included a burrata salad with freshly roasted red peppers, pan-fried spaghetti with baby spring onions and mint, and chicken piccata. I also planned to make fresh whipped cream with raspberries and dark chocolate and macadamia nut crumble but neglected to buy both the heavy whipping cream and macadamia nuts.  That’s what happens when you go shopping without a list!

So what is a chef to do when there is no Easter dessert?

Serve jelly beans, of course!

The bottle of Lambrusco we imported from Italy went great with all of the courses, except for the ole jelly beans. Quite frankly, that was a disgusting pairing. Both tasted good on their own, not together. (Yes, I should have known that, but after a couple of glasses of wine, I threw caution to the wind.)

Tis the same with selling, my fine feathered friend.

You can have the best sales presentation on the planet, but if delivered to the wrong audience, you’re not going to get poor results. Conversely, you can have an audience of your very best prospects, but if you deliver a subpar sales message, your results are once again going to be subpar.

The secret to hitting a home run is to combine the right audience and the right sales message.

What’s cool, though, is that you can attract the right audience and close them if you know how to craft a killer sales message.

I’ll be releasing a brand-spankin’ new copywriting course this month that’ll show you how to that, but you can get it for free by becoming a Dave Dee Inner Sanctum VIP.

I am removing the copywriting course as a members bonus, so get in while the gettings good by going here:
