Last night, Karen and I watched a very cool, disturbing and morally challenging show called “The Push.” It’s on Netflix and is produced by Derren Brown. If you don’t know Derren, he is an incredible mentalist who is a huge star in the U.K.

“The Push” is not a magic show though; it is a social experiment where the question is raised and tested as to whether people can be manipulated through compliance and social pressure, to commit murder. No, I’m not kidding.

As you know, I teach how to use “mind control” when creating presentations to sell, and a big part of that is getting your audience to comply with your requests throughout your presentation. Do that, and a vast majority of your audience will buy when you tell them to do so.

“The Push” takes compliance to the ultimate extreme but, as you will see, the principles are the same.

With great power comes great responsibility.
