I started a whirlwind tour today. Over the next four weeks, I am doing presentations in Orlando, Phoenix, Atlanta and Chicago.
I haven’t been on stage in a few weeks and I’m pumped to get out there but there is something I need to be really watchful of…
My ENERGY.
Doing multi-day, all day events takes a LOT of you. Unless you’ve done them, you can’t relate but believe me, you expend a lot of physical, mental and emotional energy, if you do it right.
If you don’t manage your energy, you’re not going to be able to perform at a peak level and will probably end up sick.
So this week, I’m going to give you tips on increasing and maintaining your energy. Regardless of whether you ever do a seminar, this is valuable info.
First, is exercise. This is tough when you’re on the road but I’ll tell you, if I don’t get my arse out of bed in the morning and get my body moving, regardless of how tire I am, I’m going to be a hurting puppy. My exercise of choice is Yoga. It is perfect for when you’re on the road. It builds strength and endurance Nx creates healthy flexibility. A major benefit of Yoga is that it centers you. It’s as good for your mind as it is for your body.
The best Yoga value on the Internet (heck, one of the best values, period) can be found here. You will have hundreds of streaming videos to choose from.
If you haven’t tried Yoga, give this a shot.
Tomorrow, I’ll share with a great tip on increasing your energy that I learned from Tony Robbins.
