A big key to influence is dissatisfaction in your audience. Not dissatisfaction with your presentation but dissatisfaction with their situation.
The easiest audience to sell to is where dissatisfaction is already present and acknowledged. Getting in front of this audience is a matter of how well you lead generate.
A more difficult task is to create dissatisfaction in your audience. You do this by contrasting their current situation with how it could be. It is the “greener pastures” story.
In either scenario, you need to amp up the feeling of dissatisfaction to the point where your audience feels pain about their current situation.
How do you do that?
I’ll tell ya tomorrow.
