A couple of weeks ago, I couldn’t make the usual Sunday service at the Episcopal Church I attend on Marco Island.
No problem, I thought—I’ll just go to the Catholic Church instead.
Except…
I couldn’t find the Mass times anywhere.
I went to their website.
Searched their Facebook page.
Checked Google.
It was like trying to crack a secret code just to figure out when to show up.
Eventually, I found what I needed… but it took way more time and effort than it should have. And honestly, if I hadn’t been determined, I might’ve just skipped it.
Here’s the point:
If your prospective clients have to “hunt” for how to take the next step with you… you’re losing business.
Whether it’s:
– Booking a consultation
– Downloading a lead magnet
– Reaching out for more info
…they shouldn’t have to dig.
The path forward should be obvious. Immediate. Easy.
Quick takeaway:
Look at your main call-to-action from the eyes of someone who doesn’t know you.
Would they know exactly what to do next, without having to scroll, search, or think?
If not, you’ve got an invisible leak.
Plug it.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
