This morning, Kalia, my son Zac, and I are headed to the Easter sunrise service on the beach.
It’s one of my favorite traditions. Not just because of its meaning—but because of the stillness.
No phones. No distractions. Just light breaking through darkness and time to reflect.
And here’s something I’ve noticed over the years…
Some of the clearest business decisions I’ve made—about who I really want to serve, how I want to be seen, and what I want to say—didn’t come while I was working.
They came in the quiet.
That’s when real positioning starts.
Not with clever branding, “niching down,” or a list of bullet points.
But with clarity.
Clarity about what matters to you.
Clarity about the value you bring.
Clarity about who you really want to work with.
So if today offers even a sliver of stillness for you—take it.
You may be surprised what comes up.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero,
Dave “Happy Easter” Dee
(No P.S. today—just wishing you a meaningful Sunday, however you spend it.)
