Pamper Me, Baby!

I survived!

After two days of trekking through the jungle, bamboo rafting, and sharing a village tent with Kalia (who somehow managed to make “remote rustic” look glamorous), I’m happy to report: no accidents, no elephant bites, and no need for that insurance.

Not to brag, but I’ve got the battle scars of bug bites to prove it.

But tomorrow? Oh, tomorrow, we’re switching gears completely from jungle grit to being utterly pampered at The Inside House in Chiang Mai. Imagine luxurious beds, indulgent massages, and service so good you’d think they’ve read your mind.

And speaking of reading minds (smooth transition, right?), that’s the secret to presenting your solution to prospects during consultations.

When offering your service to a prospect, the worst thing you can do is present it the way you think it’s amazing. Instead, tailor your presentation to match what they’ve already told you is important.

When presenting your solution, stop talking about what you love about it. Instead, anchor every benefit to what your prospect has already told you they need.

  • If they say they’re after peace of mind, highlight how your service eliminates stress or worry.
  • If they’re focused on results, show them exactly how your solution delivers the specific outcome they care about.

You’ve got to connect the dots between what they said matters and what you offer—because when you do, your solution becomes their solution.

Fail to do this, and you’ll come off like someone offering elephant trekking gear to someone craving a spa day. (Trust me, after this trek, I’m all-in on the spa day.)

When your solution mirrors your prospect’s wants, you’re no longer “selling.” You’re simply showing them the answer they were hoping for all along.

And just like me not needing accident insurance (but appreciating they knew someone might!), you’ll earn their trust and close the deal by focusing on what truly matters to them.
