You’re Fired

Tom, an Elite Mastermind member, reported he fired his top client.

Although the client represented a substantial revenue stream, Tom let him go because he was causing him too many problems.

That’s smart and gutsy and reveals an abundance versus scarcity mentality.

Aristotle coined the phrase “nature abhors a vacuum,” and in most cases, not all, that’s true. Tom proved Aristotle was right because lucrative opportunities appeared almost immediately after he fired his problematic client.

The “customer is always right” is not true. Sometimes, the customer is dead wrong and needs to go.

Yesterday, we “fired” a customer. Kalia warned me that this guy, based on past experiences, was a problem, but did I listen? Noooooo! It wasn’t until I got fed up that I finally said, “Sayonara, amigo.” I should have listened to my wife and given him the axe sooner.

It’s your business. You choose who and who not to work with. If a client is rude or too demanding, it might be time to let them go.
