She insisted that her problem was traffic. She thought she’d be fine if she could find a way to get more people to visit her website and wanted me to talk about different ways to drive traffic.
I bluntly told her that she could find many people to drive traffic to her website, but that wasn’t the problem, and she’d be wasting money paying for more traffic because…
Her messaging sucked.
It wasn’t clear what specific problem her offer was solving or what transformation the prospect would experience.
Our prospects are looking for solutions to problems. They are looking for ways to get out of pain, whether that’s physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual.
Prospects will flock to you if you can truly help them solve their problem and move from pain to pleasure. Generating traffic won’t be a problem.
For example, take Jesus.
He didn’t have trouble gathering a crowd. People flocked to Him because he performed miracles that cured people of their afflictions.
What “miracle” do YOU perform for your clients that cures their affliction?
That’s the starting point of a superior lead generation message.
