There is not much uglier than getting psyched to do a presentation and have only a handful of people show up.
I’ve had this happen before, and it deflates you. Of course, the show must go on, and you forge ahead, but it still blows chunks.
Of course, marketing is the key to getting people to your event, either online or offline. There are a slew of books and courses that’ll teach you all about lead generation. Here is a report that’ll get you started.
But here is a simple “trick” that has proven to boost attendance for entrepreneurs who do workshops, dinner meetings, and, yes, webinars.
It’s just five words, but it’ll boost your response. Here they are:
“An Evening With The Author”
Add in a picture of your book, and more folks will show up to see you speak.
Don’t discount this because it’s simple. It works.
Of course, you need to have a book, but that’s another subject for another day.
Remember, you need to work just as hard to get people to show up as you do to sell them.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
