Ah, I wax poetic.
The wife and I drove through Pebble Beach on the famous 17 Mile Drive. It was stunning, breathtaking awe-inspiring and….cloudy.
The clouds didn’t detract from the beauty of the location and, I would say, enhanced it.
After soaking in the magnificence and power of the ocean and natural wonders, we drove to the resort we’re staying at in Carmel Valley. Here’s what’s interesting and instructive:
The minute we entered the Valley, it was bright and sunny. The clouds that engulfed Pebble Beach stopped cold to give way to blue skies. Mind you, the distance between the two areas is mere miles, but the change in climate was dramatic.
If you are struggling, keeping moving forward. Clouds always give way to sunshine and sometimes, in a short amount of time as long as you keep on the path.
If you are rocking it now, keep moving forward. Remember that clouds are always looking to engulf the complacent.
Okay, time for me to get ready for a yoga class, then hiking and then an eight-course dinner with a wine pairing.
