What I Do Behind The Scenes

It’s snowing in Atlanta! Yep, I’m sitting in my office watching the white stuff fall. I’m ready for Spring, I gotta tell you.

The other day I realized that you might not know what the business behind my business really is. Yes, I write this daily newsletter and sell information products, but there is more that I don’t talk a lot about – until now.

You see, I am the product launch strategist who has been the mastermind behind some of the most successful launches in history. And I’m not talking about product launches that sell Internet marketing stuff. You know those incestuous “Guru of the Month” product launches where all the gurus sell products to each other’s lists. No, I’m talking about launches for real information products, coaching programs, and seminars that have nothing to do with teaching people how to make DEE-nero on the Internet.

One of my most famous launches was for Alexis, before she became my girlfriend, where she did $117,000 in 67 minutes and went on to gross $225,000 in just three weeks. She started with no list and no product.

Last year, I orchestrated a launch that was worth $510,000 to my client in just the first year and that number does not include reccuring income the client will receive in year #2.

I have helped a client have a million dollar weekend launching an area exclusive coaching program. (If you don’t know what that is and you’re a coach, you need to.)

Of course, I have been the strategist behind the launch of my own businesses as well, including the Dave & Alexis business.

I’m the guy gurus sneak in the back door when they are having trouble filling a seminar and need to get butts in the seats fast.

One of my reasons for coming out of the closet on this semi-secret part of my business is because I grew tired of seeing business owners waste their time and money hiring people who claim to be product launch specialists. The great majority of these “specialists” were “certified” after taking a guru’s course, but don’t have any real world experience and quite frankly don’t know what they are doing.

Over the next few days, I am going to give you a mini-course, “The Anatomy Of A Successful Product Launch” where I’ll take you step by step through the process and my system. This will be one of the most valuable courses you receive all year – and it’s free.

Now if YOU have an information business – be it coaching, products, seminars, etc. – you can apply to have a free strategy session with me. There is an application process and you do need to qualify. If you’re interested, email Chelsea at chelsea@davedee.com with the subject line: “Strategy Session With Dave” and she’ll get you all the details.

Okay, I’ll talk to you tomorrow with lesson #1 of “The Anatomy Of A Successful Product Launch.”

Kick butt, make mucho “DEE-nero!”

~Dave Dee

P.S., One of the most important parts of any product launch is email. You need to know how to write kick butt emails that get a response. (Heck, even if you aren’t launching a product, you need to know how to do this. It is critical to your success in the 21st century.) You can read my free report about writing killer emails now by going to http://www.davedee.com/email.

Dave, interesting and valuable stuff. I’m driven to wonder if your techniques for successful launch and sale of “products” can transfer not only to “personal services” like coaching, but to attorneys, chiro’s, dentists etc. And, how about your approach for a political candidate? Interesting story, I’m thinking about running for a professional position in my County that noone has ever won before. I’m certain it can be done. It just needs a full out, out-of-the political box approach. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Darrow,

As I always say marketing, is marketing is marketing – regardless of what you’re marketing.

This would kill in the political arena.

    Dave
