The other day I received an email from a reader telling me he wasn’t interested in my Psychic Salesperson & Personal Empowerment live seminar because, “I am a lawyer and not a salesperson.”
Exsqueeze me?
The one thing preventing you from having everything you want in life is your ability to sell your ideas, concepts, thoughts, beliefs, philosophies, products or services. Think about that just for a minute and try to see where that does not apply.
Want to date that beautiful woman you see in your local coffee shop? You need to “sell” her on you.
Want to keep your kids off drugs? You need to do a better selling job the the scumbag drug dealer down the street.
Want a prospect to hire you instead of the lawyer down the street? You need to sell her.
Selling is what makes the world go round because nothing happens until someone sells something. And the better you can sell, the better your life will be in ALL areas. Period.
Burn this into your brain: No matter what business you are in, you are primarily in the sales and marketing business. You must make this mental shift if you want to be successful.
I became a very successful magician NOT because I was the best magician who ever lived but because I was a tremendous marketer who knew how to make the phone ring and then when it did ring, I was a tremendous salesperson who closed nearly every prospect who called me. Then, I was a kick ass salesperson during my show selling the audience on me and on hiring me for additional shows. (This was a subtext I had running throughout my show which resulted in me getting tons of additional shows from every show I did.)
So dear coach, trainer, speaker, therapist, healer, lawyer, financial planner, accountant, CPA, dentist, chiropractor, butcher, baker and candlestick maker – you are all salespeople. Embrace it. Get great at it. When you do, the doors of success will open wide for you in all aspects of your life.

One of the keys to selling, is to “pre-frame” your prospects so they are already sold on you before you ever meet with them. 99.9% of salespeople don’t use this strategy and many of them have never even heard of it.
